Música do Círculo Retreat in Europe
For the first time in Europe, bringing the experience of more than 20 retreats in Brazil.
Música do Círculo is an experience of music and human development, created through musical improvisation games and grounded in cooperative values for a better world.
For the past 10 years, the Música do Círculo Institute has grown in Brazil, organizing workshops, gatherings, retreats, and international leader trainings around the world. And now, for the first time, we are bringing one of our most powerful experiences to Europe: the Música do Círculo Retreat.
You will be guided through this experience by the three founders of the methodology: Pedro Consorte, Ronaldo Crispim, and Zuza Gonçalves. For six days, you will gather with people from different cultures and nationalities to discover what kind of music can emerge from an encounter grounded in values such as cooperation, community, diversity, creativity, inclusion, and humanity, using musical improvisation games as our main tool.
This gathering always takes place in a special setting, usually a retreat center, where we stay close to nature in a calm environment and live together, deepening our exchange and strengthening our connection with others and with ourselves.

The retreat team values ​​well-being and quality of relations, promoting activities that are both light and profound, fun and consistent, challenging and inclusive, regardless of the participant's musical experience.

There are activities throughout the day, but each person takes care of their own experience by choosing what to do according to their interests and needs.
FACILITATORS
The retreat is led by the founders of the Instituto Música do Círculo and developers of the Música do Círculo approach, whose practice has spreading in the world with activities that have already reached more than 20 countries.
Pedro Consorte
Founder and director of the Instituto Música do Círculo. An artist-educator with a hybrid background (music and dance), he was a member of the STOMP group for 2 years, is part of the teaching staff of the International Body Music Festival, and is increasingly dedicated to learning processes and human development.
Ronaldo Crispim
Founder and director of the Instituto Música do Círculo. Musician and educator, he was part of Fernando Barba's study group, from Barbatuques, and for 7 years was co-responsible for the Fritos body percussion group in São Paulo. He holds degrees in Pedagogy of Cooperation, the Guerreiros Sem Armas program, and Gaia Education, a regenerative culture program.
Zuza Gonçalves
Founder and director of the Instituto Música do Círculo. A musician and artist-educator dedicated especially to vocal music, he has been exploring alternative paths in collective music-making for almost 20 years, and is part of the faculty of Bobby McFerrin's Circlesongs Workshop at the Omega Institute in New York.

We've been in many different retreat spaces but always valuing the proximity with nature. Hundreds of people from dozen countries and 5 continents have participated, generating an amazing cultural exchange not only during the retreat experience but also beyond it.
