Become a Música do Círculo leader!

Being a Música do Círculo is about developing skills as an artist, educator and facilitator, to lead groups in different contexts to experience music as an experience of well-being, expression, creativity, connection and human development.

At the end of the course you will have tools to apply the Música do Círculo methodology in contexts such as educational, personal development, corporate, music education, etc.

DEVELOP YOUR OWN MUSICALITY

Explore your own musicality through improvisation, incorporating music into your body and listening deeper to yourself, others and the whole.

LEAD MUSICAL EXPERIENCES IN ANY GROUP

Incorporate tools to make music with any group of people in the most varied contexts.

Discover techniques, activities and approaches that can be applied both in musical contexts and with groups not directly connected to music.

CREATE SPACES FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

Expand your view of music and relationships, understanding music as a broad and transformative phenomenon of human experience, an experience that always occurs in relation.

The 8 elements of Música do Círculo

The course is based on the study of the 8 elements that characterize a Música do Círculo practice and covers both objective aspects (such as types of musical games, types of formations in space, dialogue dynamics, etc.) and subjective aspects (worldview, cooperation, principles and values, diversity, etc.), with a special focus on caring for emotions and developing relationships.

Why take this course?

Unique in the world

Música do Círculo is a practice developed in Brazil by Ronaldo Crispim, Zuza Gonçalves and Pedro Consorte. It's the result of years of creation and exploration inspired mainly by Fernando Barba and Stênio Mendes (Barbatuques), Bobby McFerrin and the Pedagogy of Cooperation by Fábio Brotto, in addition to folk Brazilian culture, art education and cooperative games.

Transformative

Throughout the course each participant has the opportunity to expand their perception of themselves and their musicality, in addition to experiencing a form of relationship based on listening, dialogue, cooperation and non-violence. In a light and deep, fun and powerful way.

International community

Through courses and events such as our Retreat, for example, Música do Círculo has been cultivating an international network that supports its members and gains strength in the journey of building a way of making music that privileges encounter, diversity, affection and delicacy, creating ways for more and more people to access their musicality and a vision of a world based on cooperation and a sense of community.

For the opportunity to experience an accessible and fun way of making music, which goes beyond the idea of performance, developing participants' musicality while creating environments of  well-being and connection.
